Discover the Different Types of Window Styles:

Double-hung windows are two-sash windows that operate in an up and down method and uses several balancing systems to keep the sashes open. Double-hung windows are cost-effective, simple in design and complement a variety of home designs.

A picture window is a large window that can’t be opened, allows large amounts of light into a room, and provides expansive views to the outdoors. Picture windows are available in rectangular, arched, and square styles.

Sliding windows are two or three sash windows that open from right to left by moving on a track. The simple design makes this window easy to operate and cost effective.

Wood or vinyl casement windows use easy to operate cranks to increase natural light and airflow to your home. Casement windows also helps you to save money on your utility bill.

Awning windows are hinged at the top of the window and open to the outside. They can be left open in the rain and offer full ventilation. Awning windows are usually rectangular or square in design, open with a crank, and work well with a combination of other window styles.

A bay window has three separate windows, with one being a large, non-operable picture window and two equally-sized operable windows on either side. The two side windows are set at 45, 60, or 90 degree angles and can be double-hung or casement crank-out windows.

A bow window is a group of four or more narrow and tall windows of equal size. The windows are built into a curved structure that projects outward from an exterior wall.
